tascam US-224 support

i recently obtained a US-224. simple interface, but effective nonetheless. using reaper's action list for midi CC's, i have mapped the faders and the scroll wheel (for pan), as well as some other fucntions. it works pretty smoothly, however if the fader position on the surface vs. in the reaper mixer is not aligned, the surface fader relocates reapers fader, thus ruining any of reaper's fader settings. im assuming theres not any way to get around this without the use of motorized faders?

thanks MsM, just what i was asking, i'll try that out! and no, i have not found a way to use bank switching, which is unfortunate. right now i have tracks 1-4 mapped to control tracks number 1-4, and i use the master fader to control the "last touched track", which enables me to adjust any track in the project if i have it selected (i decided i don't touch the master anyways during mixing, so i might as well put it to use). problems with the Tascam US-224 USB audio/midi interface and ableton 

ive got it working, mostly but the lights do not function properly. the first 2 channel lights light up but not the 3rd or 4th. also none of the lights work on the rec/play, etc buttons. i also have a problem with not being able to toggle the buttons properly to ableton. so the rec button doesnt really work and the mute buttons are not toggling either. ive tried changing the settings on the bottom left hand corner when i set up the midi map but cant get the correct setting. the sliders work fine it was originally designed to work with cubasis and im not 100% sure what its used for either
