Hi, I read some of the threads that are asking for audio editors, but: I would like to use reaper as an destructive audioeditor. Sure, I can load the audio, work on it and render, that is perfect. But that is not the solution if I use for example DaVinci Resolve (or an alternative NLE) as video editor that is calling an external audio editor (if I want to edit the audio) and after hitting save the new audio is implemented in the VideoEditor. Any chance to get that? I do have an Audioeditor for that purpose, but as mentioned, I want reaper to do the job :-) . horst

I am sure it is possible via scripts or Actions, but you have to make those action routines yourself. And yes, it will involve rendering and such, making a backup copy first, overwrite, etc. Then you can assign every action list to a button or hotkey. It is quite specific for the task you do, so you have to do it yourself and it might take you quite some time preparing all this + testing + fixing + special case scenarios, etc. The probably you woul dwant this Workflow\Workspace to be available as a Screenset (it is a Reaper UI feature) with all the buttons and panels the way you work. Once done, then it can be extremely fast workflow.

Pretty much! (Hey it's pretty old right?) Used glue or render FX to take to destructively apply FX so you could see results etc. Honestly no idea if even works on latest reaper, but I guess some of the options could inspire a script or something. Sub projects could also play a role these days.
