Waves v10 and Reaper -- anyone taken the plunge yet?

Waves v10 was announced today -- -- wondering if anyone has jumped in yet? How do they work with Reaper? I logged into my account and upgraded any "current" plugin licenses to v10, but haven't installed them yet. A bunch of older v9 plugins that have expired WUP plans will require me to pay the WUP fee to get them updated to v10. But the Waves FAQ didn't look like I really needed to update for now, since all v9 plugins still work fine. And I don't see any real advantage to v10 yet anyway. Except perhaps for a small fix for Omni Channel in V10 for Reaper and Studio One. So it looks like future bugfixes will only show up in v10... very clever of them...

Hell no!! My Waves plugins work perfectly and there's no goddamn way in goddamn hell I would update to another version, which I'm sure, will suck for at least a year. And I'm sure the license verification will suck and everything else will suck, but at least they'll look like FabFilter plugins, woopety doo!!!!

They really ARE desperate to get more money out of those of us that buy the plugs & then ignore the WUP highway robbery. My plugs all work still & since I have never paid more that $29 for any waves plug I own, including two of their electric pianos, I will just move to something else as & when they make something that breaks the ones I have.

Bought v9 about 2 months ago, v10 upgrade was within included 1 year WUP so why not. Seems to work, but I don't think there are any huge differences. v9 projects opened fine with v10 too so.

Everything looks fine here. I have several FX Chains saved in REAPER which include some Waves plugins. Upgrading to V10 retained all the parameters as they were in V9.

Yep, I upgraded here, and now I have some v9 and some v10, plus some of both... so it's a little confusing when selecting a plugin, but everything works. I need to figure out an easy way to purge the v9 plugins that also have v10 plugins in there.

Was not able to update. Keeps failing. Tried rebooting, logging in as admin, clearing cache, disabling virus protection and firewall. I'm fucking never buying another Waves product ever again.

So I can't update Scheps Omni Channel - purchased 2 months ago - without upgrading my other Waves plugins? You can't upgrade your recent plugins ala carte?

I can't get REAPER to see my Waves plug-ins (gasp.) But I'm wondering if it has to do with running Waves Central v10 with plug-ins I purchased a while ago, but have not installed until yesterday, June 29th, 2018. My invoice shows the purchase date as April 22, 2017. The closest Waves Central update preceding my purchase date is v9.6 on March 29, 2017, less than a month prior to my purchase. I'm going to try v9.6 and see if that works. Waves Central v10 downloaded the plug-ins yesterday. Would it have downloaded v9 plug-ins? I'm not, and WILL NOT, be participating in their WUP nonsense.
